5 things I liked about Maker Faire

that I didn't see last year.

#1 - My favorite thing was definitely the Sisyphus V kinetic sculpture by Bruce Shapiro. I'd like one of these in my home.

#4 - Last year I became enamored with the Instructables Robot, this year I like their small cards:


They lead you to little Instructables. I am particularly excited about this one, because we have a bunch of vanilla beans, and some pure extract would rock.

#5 - Lastly ... I must say, it was these goats:

They were playing king of the hill on the haystack. I had no idea this was a natural instinct. It was fun watching them knock each other off the top and butt heads ... and a bit gross when the guy on top decided to use his position to defecate on those below him ... but that is all part of the social economy, I guess.
