Somehow, Sam had been here nearly 2 years and had yet to ride a cable car!? I think they throw you out of the Bay Area if you get to that 24 month mark. Yikes.

We went into the city and watched Indiana Jones on a proper screen. One thing about that movie, it helped me appreciate growing up in the 80's. Most people trash the decade, but really what a great time to be a preteen-teen ... getting theater movies like Raiders of the Lost Ark, ET, Ghostbusters, Return of the Jedi, Back to the Future, Die Hard ... Good stuff.

After lunch, we took a small stroll and Mary showed me her nice office (she has a window - I no longer have a window ...good job Mary!) We boarded the California line up to Grace Cathedral. Unfortunately we only had 7 minutes inside before they closed, but it was still stunning and I look forward to returning. We did get some time on the outdoor labyrinth, a place I'll hold class sometime soon. Before heading home we grabbed a Beard Papa's for the road. A nice day off.
