A trip to LaGrange, GA

As soon as school duties were over (seriously like 8 hours later), I gave Mary and Sam a kiss goodbye and took off to go visit my Wilson friends: Anthony, Jeanette and Lucas Cameron.

In between Atlanta and Birmingham, LaGrange is a good place to get away from the world I've been inhabiting lately. And WOW! Lucas is such a delightful young man. He is smart as a whip and fun as can be. We had an absolute blast together. We read, played restaurant, built remarkable structures with wooden blocks (castles, zoos, towers), lots of coloring, told stories AND went to our first Braves game. Good times.



It was nice catching up with Anthony and Jeanette (well mainly Jeanette since I talk to Anthony pretty much every day.) They are both doing well: beautiful new home, successful academic careers and of course a wonderful little man around the house.
